Love your Seakiss!
Care for your Seakiss today & it will love you back tomorrow!
Your Seakiss will stay on your body & love being in the ocean through your surf, swimming & water sport sessions. However all Seakiss designs are made with the boldest of colours/prints and need your care afterwards. Your Seakiss is an investment piece made with extra attention to detail specifically designed for extreme water sports. After use care ensures your Seakiss will be with you for plenty of sessions to come!
QUICK TIPS: Follow these instructions & watch how long your Seakiss lasts!
SEAKISS LOVES COLD FRESH WATER!
Rinse your swimwear in cold water after each wear. By rinsing your swimsuits in cold water, you will help remove the excess salt and chlorine. Rinse straight after use and dry flat to avoid creasing in a cool shaded area.
NEON ALERT! KEEP ME SEPARATE PLEASE!
If your Seakiss has bold neon’s (Orange & Pinks) - a lot of dye has gone into making the colour pop. Therefore expect a little to run when washing. Neon colours will need to be hand washed in cold water at least three times for the excess colouring to bleed out. Therefore do not put in with other clothing or in a plastic bag. The good news is it will fade slower than alot of other mainstream swimwear!
PLEASE DO NOT PUT ME IN THE WASHING MACHINE!
Always hand wash separately and individually in cold water. Even if your washing machine is set to the gentle cycle it will still be too rough. Washing machines can ruin the shape, fabric, padding, as well as any delicate embellishments like braids and twists.
I LOVE DELICATE WASHING LIQUID NOT WASHING POWDER.
Normal washing powder is designed for washing machines and bulk loads and therefore can be harsh and make swimwear colours run & prints fade. Therefore wash your Seakiss by hand in cold water then use a liquid that is meant for delicate fabrics. (We recommend organic or eco liquids to be kind to the environment as well as your swimwear!)
PLEASE GENTLY SQUEEZE ME AFTER USE.
Be gentle and do not wring or twist your swimsuit roughly, as this could ruin its shape.
PLEASE AVOID ROUGH SURFACES.
Sitting and/or rubbing against textured pool decks and any rough edges can ruin the smooth and luxurious texture of your Seakiss. Please wear shorts or a sarong if coming into contact with these surfaces to avoid nicks and damaging the fabric.
AVOID EXCESS LOTIONS & SUNSCREENS.
We promote healthy living and protecting skin with sunscreen. However sunscreen, tanning oils, and cosmetics can be harmful to swimsuits. Make sure to rinse and wash your swimwear as soon as possible if you do come in contact. Do not use any tanning lotions with carrot or tanning enhancers as this too can discolour your swimwear.
CHLORINE CAN RUIN SWIMWEAR.
Excessive amounts of chlorine can break down the spandex which will ruin the shape of swimwear and accelerate the fading of the fabric. So if you take your Seakiss into chlorinated water be sure to thoroughly wash in fresh cold water afterwards.
PLEASE DON'T PUT ME IN A DRYER OR USE HEAT!
Similar to washing machines, dryers can be too rough for the fragile material of swimwear. In a shaded and well-ventilated area, lay your Seakiss flat out to dry. By laying it flat, you will diminish the appearance of wrinkles and creases. Never use an iron! The extreme heat will ruin the colour and texture of your Seakiss.
AVOID STORING IN A PLASTIC BAG.
This will reduce the chance of the fabric sweating & colour bleeding or rubbing off on other swimsuits. Instead, individually wrap wet swimsuits in a dark-coloured towel.
